Don’t forget, the basic guardsmen are only 50pts for ten without upgrades. Even with all the most expensive upgrades this comes to 127pts (no commissar or transport, I counted them elsewhere), which is still cheaper than a basic 10 man marine squad (going off the current Dark Angels codex). The near full company of Praetorian 24th infantry shown here comes in at under 7000pts.
Technically I have more now since I field my 2000pts+ of They Who Shall Not Be Named as guardsmen.

Wow…. 45,000? After looking at all the miniatures and that enormous titan I would have thought it to be over twice that many points!!! The imperial Gaurd never cease to amaze me.

Thanks a lot , what would u suggest me to start with if I was about to start an Imperial Guard army? I saw a couple of videos and half of them suggest buying the Battleforce and the other half suggesting buying a couple of soldiers like 20 and a transport (Chimera? for the IG?)

For selling old stuff I can only suggest eBay. I suggest that you take a look at some of the sellers already offering second hand miniatures there. Some of them will be business sellers who may also buy from you without you needing to go through eBay.
Like pretty much all 40k armies, the Imperial Guard can be very good so long as they are used properly. Be aware – when I was in GW yesterday I was told that the rulebook was no longer on sale, so it looks like a new edition is due soon.
